Official Rules for Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft Raffle/Drawing

Sponsor: The raffle is sponsored by Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft, located at 6333 S Macadam Ave Ste 104, Portland, OR 97239.

Eligibility: The raffle is open to legal residents of Oregon who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft, and their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to enter. Employees, officers, and directors of former owners of A Pet Loft Inc, or related sister companies, and their immediate family members and household members, are not eligible to enter.

How to Enter:

GRAND PRIZE

No Purchase necessary to get 1 entry per day.  Just visit our store and look around and get  1 free entry in the drawing of your choice. There is a limit of 1 “no purchase necessary” entry per day. You agree that attempting to or actually entering more than 1 “no purchase necessary” entry per day will forfeit ALL entries (a day is defined as 12:00 AM -11:59:59 PM on a calendar day).  “no purchase necessary” entries require entry in database to track these entries. All entries are free but are given out according to our terms set forth below. You are not buying the ticket; we are giving you the chance to win based on our criteria. 

The individual entering must be the individual in the building. No absentee entries are allowed. However, you do not need to be present on drawing day to win. We will call you as specified under Notification below. 

Earn entries based on purchase value:

$25-$49.99 = 1 entry into the Prize drawing (Gold) AND 1 entry in basket of choice (White)

$50-$74.99 = 2 entries in Prize drawing (Gold) AND 2 entries in basket of choice (White)

$75-$99.99 = 3 entries in Prize drawing (Gold) AND 3 entries in basket of choice (White)

$100-$124.99 = 5 entries in Prize drawing (Gold) AND 5 entries in basket of choice (White)

Each additional full $25 = 1 additional entry in Prize drawing and basket of choice. 

$500= bonus of 4 extra GOLD and 4 extra White tickets! 

$1000= bonus of 4 extra GOLD and 6 extra White tickets! 

For example: 1 “no purchase necessary” entry, that’s 1 entry! Place it any drawing. You can choose a Gold or a white ticket, but you get only one! 

For example: 2 Buy pet food or gear at $101.99 that’s 5 entries, in the Grand Prize, and 5 entries in the baskets. These can be split amongst the baskets as you desire, or put them all in one.  

We are not responsible for tickets placed in wrong drawing.

A gold ticket in the baskets is invalid and vice versa.

Drawing: The drawing will be held on by the last day of November 2025, at Pet Loft. Each individual entry has the same chance at winning since all will be added to a bucket and shaken, spun and generally dizzy until the drawer feels they are adequately shuffled and mixed. They will then reach in and slosh their hand around for several seconds and pull 1 ticket out. This will be repeated with the Prize drawing and all Baskets. 

Prizes: Grand Prize: Aspire A315-2PT-R288 Touchscreen laptop. The winner is responsible for any and all taxes, title, registration, and other fees, including obtaining 3rdparty insurance plans, associated with the prize. The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted. Prize is forfeit if winner tries to exchange for cash or ask for substitute. 

2nd Prize Hisense QLED 43” Television QD6 Series. The winner is responsible for any and all taxes, title, registration, and other fees, including obtaining 3rd party insurance plans, associated with the prize. The prize is non-transferable, and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted. Prize is forfeit if winner tries to exchange for cash or ask for substitute.

The winner is responsible for any and all taxes, title, registration, and other fees, including obtaining 3rdparty insurance plans, associated with the prize. Baskets: these are supplied by various vendors and range from $25 to $100+. The winner is responsible for any and all taxes, title, registration, transportation, and other fees, including obtaining 3rd party insurance plans, associated with the prize. The prize is non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent is permitted. Prize is forfeit if winner tries to exchange for cash or ask for substitute. If you do not want any of the items we can donate them to a local non-profit for you!

Notification: The winner will be notified via Telephone within 3 days following the drawing. And again, each of the following days for three days.  If the winner does not respond within 3 days of the final call, an alternate winner will be selected. This will be repeated until a winner claims the prize. If a winner claims the prize but fails to pick it up, the prize will be held 1 month from date of claim, and if not picked up will become forfeit. Please claim the PRIZE, this is the whole point!

Publicity: By participating, the winner consents to the use of their name, likeness, and entry for promotional purposes in any media without further payment or consideration. The winner will be required to take photos with the prize for use on social media in perpetuity, again with no further compensation or consideration. The winner must sign a release to obtain the prize. There will be no exceptions. 

General Conditions: Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the raffle if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the raffle, as determined by Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft in its sole discretion.

Limitation of Liability: Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, or any other error. Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft is not responsible for injury or damage to participants' or any other person's computer, person, or property related to, or resulting from, participating in the raffle. Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft is not liable for any use, misuse, or any other contact with the prizes. Winner (s) will take all responsibility for the safe use and deployment of the prizes in perpetuity. 

Disputes: Except where prohibited, participants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this raffle shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Oregon. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules, participants' rights, and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft in connection with the raffle, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon. You agree to participate in binding arbitration if an impasse is reached for any and all claims. Ricky B Ventures LLC shall be fully reimbursed for all legal fees if successful in its defense. 

Participation: No one is forcing anyone to participate. All participants agree to participate in this fun event solely for the enjoyment of it. No other promises are made, implied or otherwise. The fitness of the product (s) is based solely on the manufacturer’s statements and Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft makes no warranties or other statements not specified in this document.

Severability: If any provision of these Official Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from the remaining provisions, which will remain in full force and effect. 

Waiver: Winner (s) will be required to sign a waiver releasing Ricky B Ventures, LLC dba A Pet Loft, its employees, officers, distributors, and vendors from any and all claims when taking possession of the prizes or use of services from 3rd parties related to this event.

Raffle Prize Acceptance Agreement

This Raffle Prize Acceptance Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Ricky B Ventures LLC dba A Pet Loft("Organizer") and ____________________________ ("Winner"), collectively referred to as the "Parties."

1. Acceptance of Prize

By accepting the prize, Winner agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

2. Limitation of Liability

Winner acknowledges and agrees that Organizer, its officers, employees, vendors, or related third parties shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or injuries arising from the acceptance, use, or possession of the prize. Winner accepts the prize "as is" and assumes all risks associated with it.

3. Assumption of Liability for Taxes and Fees

Winner assumes full responsibility for any and all taxes, fees, and other financial obligations that may arise from accepting the prize. Organizer, its officers, employees, vendors, or related third parties shall not be responsible for any such liabilities.

4. Use of Likeness

Winner agrees to allow Organizer and sponsoring vendor to take photographs and/or videos of Winner with the prize. Winner grants Organizer and sponsoring vendor a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use Winner's likeness, name, and image in any media for any purpose without further compensation.

5. Miscellaneous

a. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties and supersedes all prior understandings or agreements.

b. This Agreement may only be amended or modified in writing signed by both Parties.

c. If any provision of this Agreement is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

d. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon and the United States.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties have executed this Agreement as of the date set forth below.
